yesterday for the first time I submitted a few of my Scrapbook layouts to scrapsubmit.com for publishing so we will see how it goes. I am sure it will take a long time before I actually have any success. If I did get published, the scrapbook companies would actually pay me for the layouts I submit. Might even get on a Scrapbook Design Team.. the possibilities are endless. :) My scrapbook bio: http://www.scrapsubmit.com/Bio.php?9634

Haven't written in here in forever and figured it was high time I do. I am much better at keeping up with this than a real journal though. perhaps I should write in here, then just print it. well Andrew is 1 yr old now and walking holding onto furniture. He will walk with help from mommy or daddy also. Still not quite doing it on his own, but he will do it with help only holding onto one hand, so we are definately getting there. He just loves curling his toes while walking though, which can indeed make things difficult. Adrianna will be 2 in March, and Seth will be 3 in May. Seth and Adrianna are talking more and more every day, although Adrianna has developed an interest in talking much more than Seth.. I have tried everything to get him to talk right, but he just seems to prefer being a baby forever. It can get really frusterating some days. Adrianna on the other hand, is putting words together to form sentences. DH's job is still going good but he truly dislikes it, and it is not in his field of study (computer programming). We are hoping he has luck finding a better job soon.

gosh, I haven't written in here in forever and figured it was high time I do. We bought our home in Oct and are still getting all settled. the kids are growing up so fast. Andrew, our youngest is now 9 months old and is not only crawling, but he is also pulling himself up onto his knees while holding onto furniture and has even managed to pull himself up into standing position a few times. He seems to be alot faster with this than the other two were, however he still isn't sitting up on his own... The other two didn't start walking till 15 and 16 months old, but I am pretty sure Andrew will be walking as 12 months. :) Thanksgiving is just around the corner and for Thanksgiving we plan on going to a friend of the families, like we did last yr for a huge Thanksgiving dinner. It was a ton of fun last yr and I am sure it will be the same this year as well.I have also already started mailing out Christmas cards to friends and family.
I am not very good at this so don't laugh!! LOL
" Why do so many people think children are so bad? If only they could see , how wrong it feels to me.
They say your hands are full, thinking I must be mad, but really all their comments do is make me really sad.
My kids are truly a blessing in my life, So happy to be a mother and a wife.
The best thing in life is raising the children of God. God please help me stand fast to the iron rod."
Friday,Saturday, and sunday we finished packing up, and loaded the van. Tomorrow we are renting a moving truck, and will be going to the storage unit, and hauling everything to the house and unloading it. I will be so glad when this part is FINALLY done with. Yesterday the sellers moved out, and last night we went to pick up the keys to the house, I looked over the house again, and much to my surprise there was a huge gash in the counter next to the stove. Apparently the sellers were devious and had hidden it both times we looked at it before closing, with a hot pad.. I was furious to find this. Mostly due to the fact that we were decieved. Not even my agent, or the inspector was aware of it. :( There was also stains all over the floor where the furniture had been, and they ripped shelving off the wall in one of the room, thus it needs a major paint job now. I am really pissed off, but such is life. The other stuff is understandable. What upsets me is the kitchen counter.. Especially after how lenient we were about the inspection repairs in the first place, out of generosity!! Stinkin Jerks!!
anyhow enough of that.. Today we registered to vote.. Yes I know I know, it was at the last minute. Only because we weren't sure where we would be home wise come November.. Now we know.. and Who am I voting for you ask?? Most definately BUSH. Kerry is a slime ball!! OOPS!! did I say that outloud??? Sat, Oct. 2nd, 2004, 06:28 pm Packing up,etc
Today the seller's were apprently not done packing, because we never got the phone call from our agent telling us they were done. Oh well.. as much as I wanted to move in today, we just weren't ready. We are still packing up and moving all the stuff to the storage unit, and then on tuesday we will move in. We don't move on sundays due to religious beliefs in keeping the sabbath day, and monday my hubby can't get off because it is their office's close out/inventory day. They just better let him off tuesday or I will be really unhappy. Not only that, but they are friends of the family, and just moved into their new home, so I would only hope they could be understanding of the situation.. not to mention it is our first home so we are extremely anxious!!
we also listened to our church's General Conference broadcast today via the internet- Windows Media player :) It was nice, but due to it, it feels like sunday to me.. LOL
We are officially homeowners now! Our closing was this morning, and everything went well, and we signed and closed! We will move in soon as sellers get everything out.. which will hopefully be saturday but technically they have till sunday! I am so excited, and we plan on going out to eat tonight to celebrate! Yipee
Last night and this morning we had to read a booklet called "the successful homebuyer. (which we downloaded online and read then and today.) It was 107 pages!!! ) WOW! It was EXTREMELY boring!!! We had to do this, and then set up an appt to speak with a financial education counselor who asked me a bunch of questions to make sure I understood the responsiblity of buying a home, and that if we default they will take our home.. yadda yadda yadda. Then the counselor faxes the sucessful homebuyer certificate to our lender. He called, and the interview went great. :) That seemed to be the main thing holding us back from closing, and that is over and done with now.. yipeee.. I was so nervous, and it went really well.Looks like we will be ready to close on friday afterall!! yippeee.
Today was so hectic! Today I went to the tag office to have the van registered, but since the title was signed over to my dad rather than to me, he has to either get a new title listing him as the owner and signing it over to me, or he has to get seller to mark out his name and put that he changed his mind, and put me as the buyer instead. so that was pretty much a wasted trip. Then after than We went to the surgical center to have my baby's drain/tube removed from his armpit. The bleeding hadn't fully drained yet, so they sucked rest out with a needle. (He had a cyst surgically removed) He has one more follow up appt set for next friday. Well it looks like we more than likely won't be closing till friday instead of tommorrow. Our lender said there is still a 20% chance we could close tomorrow, but HIGHLY unlikely :( which is a bummer, since we really needed saturday to move so we could get help moving the big furniture on and off the truck.
